Developing Innovations in Navajo Education, Inc. (DINE, Inc.):

Diné, Inc. is a non-profit corporation formed in the mid 1990s by local community members and interest, to focus on, and engage local community needs and concerns. The rationale being that: Local community desires and issues were no being adequately addressed by the Navajo Nation. Since its inception, the results of the corporation’s efforts has seen new educational facilities and opportunities, Reservation-wide satellite Internet service and innovative approaches to traditional Navajo dryland agriculture on the Navajo Nation. Consequently, Diné, Inc. has developed a national and international network of interest and support system, and attained extensive experience in working with rural Navajo communities in education, agricultural support and a variety of community service functions.
